The 2024 U-CARS symposium will be hosted in person at the Salt Lake City Marriot University Park, located on the University of Utah campus in scenic Salt Lake City, Utah.

The objective of this conference is to bring thought leaders together to exchange ideas, debate paradigms, and share information directly focused on issues related to myocardial recovery and regeneration. Topics will expand across the basic, translational, and clinical sciences to provide a unique forum to push the field of heart recovery forward.

2024 U-CARS KEYNOTE SPEAKER:

Eric N. Olson, Ph.D.

Annie and Willie Nelson Professorship in Stem Cell Research; Pogue Distinguished Chair in Research on Cardiac Birth Defects; Robert A. Welch Distinguished Chair in Science – University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center

Eric N. Olson, Ph.D. is the founding chair of the Department of Molecular Biology at UT Southwestern. He also directs the Hamon Center for Regenerative Science and Medicine and the Wellstone Center for Muscular Dystrophy Research. He holds The Robert A. Welch Distinguished Chair in Science and the Annie and Willie Nelson Professorship in Stem Cell Research.
