Fontan Circulatory Failure

Adult and pediatric surgery patients may develop signs and symptoms of heart failure or other organ diseases due to their Fontan circulation. These patients may need treatment such as cardiac medicines, mechanical devices, or transplantation.

Muscular Dystrophy

Patients with Muscular Dystrophy (MD) have weakened muscles; this also includes their heart muscle. These patients may develop signs and symptoms of heart failure and may need treatment such as cardiac medicines, mechanical devices, or advanced treatments.

Congenital Heart Disease

Some children with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) may develop signs and symptoms of heart failure—these patients will need routine monitoring and may need treatment such as cardiac medicines, mechanical devices, or transplantation.

Cardiomyopathy

Cardiomyopathy patients have heart muscle problems that affect the ability of the heart to fill with blood and/or eject blood to the body.
